I loved working with my small group and teaching assistant on medical case studies. It was so cool to go through case studies like they do in medical school. I enjoyed working in the Stan lab, I liked learning lab techniques. I loved the seminars given by medical professionals. My favorite seminar was "So You Want To Be A Surgeon". It was an amazing experience to hear from surgeons and learn about their specialties. I want to be a surgeon, so it was awesome.
My son thanked me on the very first day for allowing him to participate in this experience. He gained a wealth of knowledge regarding Engineering and thoroughly enjoyed the two week program. He now feels he is prepared to make an informative decision regarding engineering and college. He definitely wants to pursue this field!
I loved how kind and welcoming everyone was. I also loved the fact that all of the sessions were recorded. It was nice to know that I could go back and watch the lectures to refresh my memory. It helped me to further solidify my understanding of the material.
