The M.A. in Diversity and Inclusion Leadership at Tufts University is the only one of its kind that provides students with both the scholarly theories and practical tools to implement institutional changes that promote diversity and foster inclusivity. Diversity and Inclusion Leadership Program

Our Approach

In this interdisciplinary program, you’ll learn and understand the social contexts and psychological processes that result in implicit bias, discrimination, and marginalization.

Tailor your program to best suit individual goals through four knowledge components:

  • Individuals, Groups & Society
  • Organizational and Interpersonal Leadership
  • Research Design, Measurement, & Analytics
  • Integrative Capstone Experience

A Flexible Timetable

Students have two options for completing the program:

Two-year plan: Take two courses per semester with an optional thesis in the second year.

One-year plan: Take three courses per semester (including summer) and complete an internship, practicum, or civic engagement project.
